...run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run... that's all I wanna do... right now... that's it... I just wanna go run...
10 days from now I get to go run in circles around Green Lake, initially I sort of feared this, the idea of running in circles for hours on end that is, but as the race approaches, I'm actually getting pretty excited for it. I think running this route as an ultra will give it new context in my mind. I'm curious whether the fact that the route is flat will result in a faster time than my Yours Truly results, or the fact that it's a loop will result in a slower time... we'll see...

I'd really like to get in one more long run prior to the 29th but that window of opportunity is closing quickly. I feel like if I don't get in a long run either tonight it won't happen at all as any time after that would probably be detrimental. Either way, I have to keep reminding my self that I'll need to treat GLDD as a training run for Mt. Si and my real objective of finishing that in under 11 hours...
...just typing "11 hours," in relation to running, gets me revved up, perhaps 50miles will teach me that should not be my gut reaction, but until then, I feel like I was made for this.
